We are a component manufacturer, not an advertising platform. This page explains exactly what happens to the details you send us with an enquiry — in plain language, without the padding.

Who we are
Hunan ChengGang Conveyor Machinery Technology Co., Ltd., trading as CHENGROLL — a conveyor idler, pulley and belt component manufacturer based in Liuyang City, Hunan Province, China. When you send us an enquiry, we are the party that receives it and the party responsible for it.

What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send. Through the Request a Quote form we ask for:
- Company name and your name
- Email address
- Phone or WhatsApp number — optional
- Country — optional
- The product you are interested in
- Industry, quantity and any notes — optional
- A drawing or technical file, if you attach one — optional
If you email or message us directly instead of using the form, we keep whatever you write in that message. Once an order is placed, we also hold the shipping and customs details needed to deliver it.
Why we collect it
For one purpose: to do the job you asked us to do. Specifically —
- to answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation;
- to check your drawing against our tooling and confirm what we can build;
- to manufacture, inspect and ship your order;
- to support warranty claims after delivery (12 months from B/L date against manufacturing defects. Claims supported by photos and batch number.);
- to keep commercial and export records where the law requires it.
We do not use your details for advertising, resell them, or build profiles of you.
Drawings and technical files
Drawings you upload are treated as your confidential information. They are opened by our engineering team to assess feasibility and prepare a quotation, and by production only if you go ahead with an order. We do not share them outside our company, and we do not reuse your design for another customer.
Cookies and tracking
This website currently sets no cookies and runs no third-party analytics or advertising scripts — no Google Analytics, no tracking pixels, no remarketing tags. Nothing about your visit is measured or sent anywhere.
If that ever changes, this page will be updated before the change goes live.
Who we share it with
Nobody for marketing purposes. We pass your details on only where it is genuinely necessary to fulfil your order — for example, shipping and customs documents prepared for your forwarder or for customs clearance.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for as long as they remain commercially relevant, so that we can pick up a conversation where you left it. You can ask us to delete yours at any time and we will do it.
Records tied to a completed order are kept for the period required by commercial and export record-keeping rules.
Where your data is processed
We are a manufacturer in China and your enquiry is handled by our own team on our own server. If you are writing to us from the EU, UK or elsewhere, your information is processed in China as a result.
How we protect it
Enquiries are stored in our own database on our own server, not on a third-party marketing platform. Access is limited to the staff who need it to answer you. As with any system connected to the internet, no method is perfectly secure — if you are sending particularly sensitive drawings, tell us and we can agree on a transfer method first.
Your rights
Whatever country you are writing from, you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you;
- correct something that is wrong;
- delete your enquiry and any files you sent;
- stop using your details for anything beyond answering your original request.
Email manger@chengroll.com and we will action it. We do not require you to use a specific form or cite a specific law.
Children
Our site is aimed at industrial buyers and engineers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. We will not quietly start doing something new with data you have already sent us.
